Floriano E. Pereira, Th.D

Founding Pastor

Pastor Floriano came to the Lord as a young adult after meeting the love of his life, Eunice. As they dated, Eunice and her father were both persistent and patient in introducing him to the gospel. Ultimately, he accepted the Lord through the tireless efforts and prayers of his father-in-law, Augusto Pereira. After accepting Christ into his life, Pastor Floriano helped pioneer a small work, not as a minister, but as a new convert with a strong desire to serve the Lord.

Although he never intended to become a minister, since he was not comfortable speaking in public, the Lord had other plans. As the years passed, he served in every capacity, from becoming a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Pastor, Elder, Assistant Pastor then his most fulfilling accomplishment, Founding Pastor. In 2013, Pastor Floriano, along with his family, felt God calling them in a mighty way to pioneer a new work in a much different demographic than they had been serving. They heeded the call and began Saving Grace. While working as a truck driver and raising a family, he earned his degrees in Biblical Studies and ultimately completed and received a Masters Degree in Theology. Pastor Floriano has served in ministry for over 30 years, and continues to proudly serve alongside his wife Eunice, his children, and grandchildren who love worshiping and serving together.

Joshua Luis Pereira

Executive Pastor

Pastor Josh was born into a ministry family, but did not always anticipate being a minister. He always served alongside his family whether it was duplicating audio cassettes (blast from the past), television ministry, and eventually the worship team, pursuing his passion of being a drummer. After his high school graduation, as he was about to embark on a new journey in the Marine Corps, God spoke to Josh and revealed his purpose was not there, but in ministry. He obediently followed by pursuing degrees in Psychology, Criminal Justice, Biblical Studies, and is completing multiple Doctorates in Theology & Christian Counseling, all of which have been used for the glory of God. Josh has been a well-loved youth pastor to two generations of teenagers, provided counseling services to members of the church and community, and now embraces his role as Executive Pastor of Saving Grace. He worships and teaches alongside his father, Pastor Floriano Pereira, with the support of his wife Nancy, and children, Hailey and Aiden.
