About Saving Grace
We are a community of believers committed to following Jesus Christ and making a positive impact in our world.
Our Foundation
Our Mission
To love God, love people, and serve our community by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with grace, truth, and compassion.
Our Vision
To be a church that transforms lives and communities through the power of God's love, creating disciples who make disciples.
Our Values
Biblical truth, authentic community, passionate worship, compassionate service, and intentional discipleship guide everything we do.
Our Story
"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men." – Titus 2:11
Saving Grace Church was established on September 8, 2013, with a Spirit-led passion for worship and a deep desire to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What began with just 40 people in East Providence, RI, has grown into a vibrant church family rooted in the heart of North Providence.
From the very beginning, our mission has been simple yet profound: to be a place where the broken can be restored and experience the victorious power of God. With God's faithfulness and guidance, we moved into our permanent home in North Providence in December 2015—and have been serving the community ever since.
We are a non-denominational Christian church that welcomes people from every background, culture, and walk of life. Our church family reflects the beautiful diversity of Rhode Island, united by a shared hope in Jesus.
At Saving Grace Church, we believe in the transforming power of God's grace. Whether you're just starting to explore faith or have been following Christ for years, there's a place for you here—a place of healing, hope, and purpose.
We invite you to come worship with us and be part of what God is doing at Saving Grace.

What We Believe
Our core beliefs guide everything we do and shape how we live out our faith
The Trinity
God is one in three persons—the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit (Matt 3:16–17; Matt 28:19; John 10:30; 14:16–17,26).
Jesus' Resurrection & Salvation
Jesus rose on the third day, defeating the grave and offering eternal life to all who believe and receive Him as Lord and Savior (John 11:25; 14:6; Titus 2:11; Rev 1:18).
New Life by Grace
We are made new by God's saving grace through Jesus' death and resurrection—not by our works (Rom 6:4; 8:11; 2 Cor 5:17; Eph 2:4–9; 4:20–24).
Scripture
The Bible is true and is our guide for this new life (Ps 119:105,160; John 17:17; 2 Tim 3:16).
The Holy Spirit & Gifts
The Holy Spirit lives in every believer and activates diverse gifts to serve His purposes (Rom 12:3–8; 1 Cor 12:4–11).
Prayer
Prayer is our greatest help and weapon in trials, strengthening us against the enemy (Ps 46:1; Mark 9:29; Eph 6:10–20).
Serving
We are called to serve in every area of life, reflecting God's love and honoring Him (Matt 25:35–40; 28:19; Gal 6:9–10; Col 3:17,23–24).
Worship
God created us to worship Him alone (Exod 34:14; Deut 6:4–5; Ps 66:4; 95:6; Isa 43:7,21; John 4:23; Rev 4:11).
Christ's Return
Jesus will come again to gather His church before the tribulation; we will return with Him at His second coming after the Great Tribulation and final battle, before He makes all things new (Luke 17:34–37; 1 Cor 15:52; 1 Thes 4:16–18; 5:2; Rev 3:10; 19:9; 1:17; Dan 12:1–2; Rev 16:14–16; 21:1).
Eternal Life
Jesus promises eternal life to all who believe and trust His sacrifice on the cross (John 3:16; 10:28–30; 1 John 2:17).
