NEW TO SAVING GRACE CHURCH?

Our pastor planted Saving Grace Church on the first Sunday of September 2013, with 40 people in attendance for that first service. He dreamed of building a church with a simple goal: reaching those far from Christ. With the help of people committed to seeing that dream fulfilled, the church has experienced significant growth.

Our Core

  1. The Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  2. Jesus died and rose again
  3. We are a new creation
  4. The Bible is truth
  5. The Holy Spirit dwells within each believer
  6. The power of prayer is a weapon
  7. Service is our greatest calling
  8. God created us to worship Him
  9. The rapture and second coming of Christ
  10. Eternity with God

What The Bible Says:

  1. The Trinity is God in three persons, God, the Father, Jesus, His Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matt 3:16-17, Matt 28:19, John 10:30, John 14:16-17, 26).
  2. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, defeating the grave, and extending the gift of eternal life to all who believe and accept Him as their Lord and Savior (John 11:25, John 14:6, Titus 2:11, Rev 1:18).
  3. We have a new life through the SAVING GRACE of God from Jesus’ death on the cross (Rom 6:4, Rom 8:11, 1 Cor 5:17, Eph 2:4-9, Eph 4:20-24).
  4. The Bible is truth and a guide for us in this new life we have been given (Psalm 119:105, 160, John 17:17, 2 Tim 3:16).
  5. The Holy Spirit dwells within each believer and ignites the different gifts and talents we have all been given to use for His purpose (Rom 12:3-8, 1 Cor 12:4-11).
  6. The power of prayer is our greatest weapon and help in times of trouble to fight against the attacks of our number one enemy, Satan (Psalm 46:1, Mark 9:29, Eph 6:10-20).
  7. We are called to serve in all areas of our lives to reflect the love of God and ultimately serve Him (Matt 25:35-40, Matt 28:19, Gal 6:9-10, Col 3:17, 23-24).
  8. God created us to worship Him alone (Exodus 34:14, Deut 6:4-5, Psalm 66:4, Psalm 95:6, Isaiah 43:7;21, John 4:23, Rev 4:11).
  9. Jesus will come again to get His church before the tribulation period (Luke 17:34-37, 1 Cor 15:52, 1 Thes 4:16-18, 1 Thes 5:2, Rev 3:10, Rev 19:9). The church will return with Him in the second coming (Rev 1:17), after the Great Tribulation (Daniel 12:1-2), and final battle (Rev 16:14-16), before He truly makes ALL THINGS NEW (Rev 21:1).
  10. Jesus promises eternal life for all who believe in Him and accept His sacrifice on the cross (John 3:16, John 10:28-30, 1 John 2:17).

REDEEMED AND RECONCILED

The mission of Ember Church is to glorify God by making disciples through the gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s mission and the mission of His Church are inseparably linked. If God’s mission is to be glorified through the redemption and reconciliation of a people, the Church’s mission must orient around the glory of God and seek to glorify Him through redemption and reconciliation.

EMPOWERED TRANSFORMATION

Our vision is to be a church of grace-filled people, empowered for community transformation and new church formation, so that the Gospel is faithfully transferred from person to person and generation to generation.

MISSIONAL COMMUNITY

Connect (or "Missional") Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings - in the synagogues - as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one another.

WORSHIP

We love music. Expect to hear everything from hymns to the most recent contemporary music you hear on the radio. We use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him.
